Keith Smith and Debi Seibert met in 1976 in their hometown of Chester Springs in Chester County, Pennsylvania.   Keith had been educated and trained as a custom cabinetmaker, Debi was a licensed real estate agent with interests in construction.  They formed a union which prevails today, more than 35 years later, having branched into all phases of residential and specialty commercial construction.

Keith and Debi first expanded their newly formed business of “The Renovator” employing historic restoration methods in compliance with National Historic Registry guidelines.  It was this period of reconstruction which enabled them to learn the finest attributes of intricate construction procedures using the highest quality materials with their restoration techniques.   The knowledge and skills they acquired from this historic restoration period has been carried into their present day values of contracting and renovation, offering above-average craftsmanship to their clientele.

In the 1980’s, they expanded their services to include an electrical contracting firm and roofing concern, which was joined by several local friends in the trades.  They also diversified beyond residential construction into commercial construction, including working subcontract electric on several shopping centers in the region. By the year 2004, their son Keith joined the firm and specialized in roofing, siding and ventilation, but was also trained in carpentry.  Though young, he contracted such clients as Philadelphia School District.  And by 2006, their daughter joined the firm as an assistant manager of showroom operations at Parkesburg.

In January 2013, they expanded their operations to include a showroom at the Jersey shore.  Fortunate to locate at the Causeway bridge, they opened their retail store and contracting branch at 347 W. 8th Street, Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island, where Young Keith is managing.

Keith and Debi have subcontracted nearly 90 percent of all contracting work through the company, bringing in only local and small licensed, skilled craftsmen and professional tradesmen who share the same values as Seibert & Smith, creating jobs and bringing employment income to our local demographic region.
